faulty phone tiny sink
the red carpet at the entrance was a nice touch (even if a bit much), making me feel somewhat important as i arrived.
my room felt more like a converted basement. the phone didn't work, so contacting anyone was a challenge. the bathroom had no outlets and the sink was ridiculously small.

Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Breakfast
room upgrade gorgeous suite delicious breakfast kind staff
I received a room upgrade, which I really appreciated. The suite was gorgeous. Breakfast included delicious avocado toasts. The staff was very kind and supportive.
The small double room had a loud extractor fan operating late at night and early in the morning. There were no solutions and no room change was offered.

The hotel is located very close to Stockbridge and the city center. There is a lovely farmers market on Sundays, a short walk from the hotel. The area is quiet.

lovely pool excellent location friendly staff room size room change extra charge
the location was excellent , it was a quaint place with a lovely little pool. the morning breakfast staff were friendly and cute. the food provided was lovely.
the room we had was very small. i could not fully open my suitcase , i had to move sideways. i requested a room change , but it was refused.

my petite double room was super clean!!! the decor was lovely and inviting. breakfast was also amazing, especially the scottish breakfast with friendly staff.
parking around the area is a little tricky since the hotel doesn't have its own permits.

garden view satisfying breakfast
The breakfast was very good. it included a full scottish breakfast. I found this very satisfying. the shower had a rainfall head and four jets on the front. the room also had space for two comfy chairs. One provided a view of the garden.
the wi-fi was somewhat slow at times.

fridge availability coffee maker bottled water cold room lack of heating unhelpful staff
i was happy with my room. a wee double provided a fridge, coffee maker and bottled water. the hotel was quiet at night. i slept REALLY well.
the hotel room was cold. there was no heating DURING my stay. the staff DID not offer a solution, like changing the room.
